Poem: FEAR by Chidubem Egwudike

I wrote this poem in the year 2017. It was dedicated to a very good friend of mine, Felicitas Irue.

She is a girl I felt attracted to back in my tutorial days. A lady who dwells in her sadness until I meet her. Trust me, I won't share her story here..lol

I am so glad to have met her and I believe I have indeed enlightened her.
Chidubem & Felicitas

She is a poet who specializes in science. Since I first got to know her, she has produced a ton of poetry, including OPEN WOUNDS, which she dedicated to me during a time when I was "feeling conflict." Our best poetry that we have ever written together is ZYGOTE TO OLD AGE, CARED BY A MOTHER, a.k.a MOTHERLY CARE.
Frightened' is just a word,
And nothing more.
Being a victim of it, gives victory to the world.
You just have to be steadfast and nothing more.

Are you Afraid,
You have loose a battle twice?
Come on, kill that 'Your Bad'
And give your fear thy wise.

It doesn't matter the years
That passes by;
What matters is your fears
That forever gone bye!

The poem, FEAR, has originally been published by Think Life.
