Elon Musk wants to create a colony for human survival on Mars. With his Space X, by 2024, he promises to launch a space tube carrying both building materials, humans and food to Mars to begin the human existence. This means now mankind have alternatives of depopulating Earth, and creating a cleaner world. And with Mars being made a liveable space, there's a multi-planetary existence of the human race. People can travel from Earth to go on vacation or permanent residency to Mars.
Secondly, in a bid to create a cleaner world too, by ensuring that by 2035, pollution and climate change are largely overcome, he is building electric automobiles called Tesla. These automobiles come in speed cars to heavy duty trucks which will not run on fuel but electricity and therefore making them rechargable. These automobiles are self-driving and come to an automatic halt when faced with possible collision.
Thirdly, his company, Neuralink wants help men upscale their mental and neural power through chip implantation in the brain. The consequences of this is that problems like Amnesia, insomnia, and other mental defections are largely corrected. This chip can make you calculate sums faster, analyse things with accuracy, help you explore you mental power to the fullest. Neuralink was tested on a pig with 90% success.

Fourth, his company, Boring Inc. is building underground electric railroad that can ship things from US to all around EU.
These four companies have futuristic approaches. And companies with huge futuristic prospects often have huge number of investors. Elon Musk has gone into the future of mankind and he's planning ahead of us, making products that we will need. It's like building Samsung phones in the age of letter writing, knowing fully well that since life on a progressive curve, mankind will certainly need it.
