UNN: 2018 FASA Election Report.

The University of Nigeria Electoral Commission [UNECO], announces the results and winners of the various executive positions on the just concluded Faculty of Art Students Association [FASA] election. It was a hectic and slanderous one. The election
started at about 7:00 a.m June 15, 2018 - on Friday. The President of the Student Union Government [SUG] - Comrade Izu Fortunatus Chimezie, was present in today's event. As it is known, he is a student of the Department of History and International Studies, Faculty of Art.
It was said that the UNECO officials ran out of ballot papers and this was like a hit on (most especially) the Department of Mass Communication - due to the fact that they arrived not so early, to vote. There were series of propaganda, threats, alliances, misunderstandings, quarrels and enclosed campaigns going on.

After the election - before the the counting took place, there was sudden protests by students on the knowledge that the election was going to be rigged. The whole obnoxious drama was calmed by the securities scheduled to bring peace and order in the election.
It was to the Glory of God Almighty that the election came to an end with a huge success as FASA finally decides!

Note:
i) The position for the post of the FINANCIAL SECERTARY was an unopposed one.
ii) The Department of English and Literary Studies have now held the position for the post of the FASA President twice in 3 years (2016, 2018).
3) ‎Three of the above FASA new executives who emerged as the winner for their contested positions, are from the Department of Combined Art -
